I was born and raised in East London, a small city in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. My arts education began with an Undergraduate Diploma in Graphic Design. I then pursued my Honours Degree at Walter Sisulu University, where I majored in Painting and earned a distinction for my work. This led to an offer of a lecturing position at the university.

Transitioning from academia to industry, I served as a Creative Director at a prominent advertising agency. Drawing on this extensive commercial experience, I subsequently launched and managed my own successful design studio.

Today, I am a full-time fine artist, focusing my practice on both ceramics and painting. My work is frequently exhibited in some of the most respected art galleries across the country.

In 2025 I had the great privilege of being invited to become a member of the International Academy of Ceramics.
